We are historically very average at best...rthe odd great season ..followed by utter failure for yrs after is a common theme.
Even our golden yrs in the 60s were poor league standings..underachievement.
I've often felt the club has always had the amateurish way about it..which in the past was endearing..but now is just embarrassing
